Why Is My Photo Not Working Properly?

If your result doesn't look quite right, here are a few common causes and how to fix them.

Face Not Detected

Our AI needs a clear, front-facing view of the face. If the face is too small, at an extreme angle, or heavily obscured, the result may not work correctly. Try cropping the photo to focus on the face before uploading.

Low-Resolution Photo

Photos below 256×256 pixels may produce blurry or distorted results. For the best results, use photos that are at least 512×512 pixels or higher.

Multiple Faces

If your photo contains multiple faces, Revivo will attempt to bring to life the most prominent one. For best results, crop the photo to show only the face you want to focus on.

Heavy Damage or Obstructions

Very old or heavily damaged photos may affect result quality. Try using our Restoration tool first to repair the photo before processing it.
