What Image Quality Do I Need for Best Results?

The quality of your results depends largely on the quality of the photo you upload. Here's what we recommend.

Minimum Requirements

• Resolution: At least 256×256 pixels (512×512+ recommended)
• Formats: JPG, PNG, or HEIC
• File size: Up to 20 MB

Tips for Best Results

• Use a clear, well-lit photo with the face clearly visible
• Front-facing or slightly angled photos work best for Revivo
• Avoid heavily cropped or pixelated images
• For old photos: scan at the highest resolution possible, or take a clear photograph of the print

Scanned Photos

When scanning old photos, we recommend scanning at 300 DPI or higher. If you're taking a photo of a printed image with your phone, make sure there's even lighting and no glare.
